Chestnut, Beatrice. The Complete Enneagram: 48 Paths to Greater Self-Knowledge. Chestnut is one of my favorite Enneagram teachers. She takes an academic approach and provides in this book the best discussion of the subtypes. This title is best for those who already have knowledge of the Enneagram.

Cron, Ian Morgan. The Story of You. Rewrite your story in a more life-giving way.

Fleming, David and Price. The Essential Enneagram: The Definitive Personality Test and Self-Discovery Guide -Revised & Updated. This is the book that was recommended to me for discovering your type. My go-to recommendation for beginners. 

Lapid-Bogda, Ginger. The Art of Typing. One of the early learners of the enneagram in the U.S. A fantastic and generous teacher in person.
